I’m definitely NOT a sandals dude, but wanted something to wear around camp during an upcoming backpacking trip. I can’t stand to have someone between my toes either.

Long story short I had been looking for something to fit the bill. When shopping I realized sandals are pretty heavy and pricey. I found Jimmies and ordered some to try out. They came in today. For the very light weight they are pretty comfortable. They seem well made and fit my narrow feet pretty well.

Definitely great value, construction, and weigh about 3.5 ounces per shoe without the carry bag. Definitely worth the money and will serve their purpose.

I still need to wear these over time, but from what I see these are perfect for my needs. The fit is perfect and the quality looks to be exceptional. I do bicycle tours and needed something lightweight and compact for camping at the end of the day. Congratulations on a great product.

I am planning on using these for my long distance hiking setup. Presently I use Bedrock sandals as both camp shoes, to help air my feet out at night and for water crossings that can't be rock hopped.

They go on my meet easy (I wear a size 10 trail runner) and the back loop is essential for keeping them on, especially for water crossings.

I am going to take them out on the AT in NH & ME this summer. I will let you know how they perform... Willin

I purchased 2 pairs. One for the gym showers and the other for hiking ( camp shoes, hut stays, etc) So far I am very happy with my purchase. They stay on very well. I have no problem walking in them. I am a Women's Size 9.5, purchased the small and they are perfect. I do wish the bag was a tad bit larger as I fold the shoes with soles inward after gym showers, and I have to push them to get them to fit. So, I frequently just use a ziploc, so I don't have to touch the bottom of the shoes at all. But I would definitely purchase again! I can see these being a big hit with thru hikers.

lightweight, Packable camp shoes!

Early review, about 10k steps in the shoes and so far they are comfortable, lightweight and versatile.

Bought these for bike packing—wearing in showers and walking around off the bike. They are incredible. Super light weight, foldable, and comfy.

Overall very good.
Maybe it was only mine but the upper strap had a sharp edge underneath and was cutting into my foot.
I took a file and shaved it down. Now it is perfect.

Very happy with these compact sandals. I intend to use them on long flights.

My first order was damaged, but the company sent me a replacement immediately. They came quickly but I missed having them on our vacation. Looks like they will work well for me.

Delighted with them. Used for cycle touring - really light but spongy sole, good fit and secure round the ankle. I’m going to order a second pair as spares.

They just arrived and I am immediately impressed. Unlike a lot of sandals they are not excessively wide, a huge thing for slides, so my foot stays back and centered, where it belongs. The elastic back strap works and makes for fast on and off--a very clever solution! The sizing chart was good and the size I ordered is perfect. The soles are soft so though they're not thick they are more comfortable than my usual heavier sandals.

Folding is clever and without it I would not have noticed them, but I don't think it's essential. Where these shine is fit and comfort, not packability, which would be fine flat in an outside backpack pocket, where they really belong. But what can I say--its the fold that sucked me in.

Excellent lightweight sandals. I was looking for a light and packable pair for bikepacking trips and these started appearing in my Instagram feed. Ideal for my needs. One suggestion, which is why it didn't get the full five stars - it would be good to have a non-foldable version. The pair wouldn't take up any more space (when the bag is long enough) but would avoid the floppy hinge.

Super confortable!

Used them and they work well for evening walks to pub after a day out on the path . Nice and light and fits well into the pack , I feel I don’t need to fold them , just slip them into a mesh pocket on the front of my backpack .
Could see the advantage of folding them and pkk look acing them inside the pack in certain situations.
Overall ,pleased with them .

I have always wanted a lighter, more packable pair of sandals for backpacking and these might just do the trick. I will know more after my trip (a week in the Yosemite backcountry in September.)

Best part is the cushy sole!
